Trees to Make a Change: CN EcoConnexions

Join us to plant "Trees to Make a Change"!

As part of a joint effort with CN EcoConnexions - From the Ground Up and Tree Canada, you can join Root for Trees as we beautify the Yellowhead berm's natural area in the Newton and Montrose neighbourhoods by planting trees and shrubs. Activities will include a ceremonial tree planting, public tree planting activities and educational activities for children.

Cost: FREE
Date: September 14, 2018
Time: 10am-2pm
Location: Berm south of Yellowhead Trail east of 66 Street

Here’s what to expect at the event:

We will supply all the plant material and shovels. Please dress for the weather and remember to wear sturdy footwear!

Program leaders will provide a planting demonstration, safety talk and some interesting facts about Edmonton’s urban forest.
