Park Pilot Applications for Approved Mobile Food Vendors
These pilots were developed based on a review of the vending program, the vendor feedback received via email over the last few years and in response to the high volume of vendor interest against approved park vending site locations.
Approved vendors with one vending unit will be required to choose between the First Come First Serve (FCFS) option and Assigned Vendor Locations (AVL) option.
Approved vendors with two approved vending units will be permitted to enter one unit into the FCFS and one into the AVL. Vendors that operate more than 2 units may apply for Street Roaming Permits for their additional units. Each unit (AHS Mobile #/Licence Plate) is tied to the permit provided. Please note that switching in and out of units will not be permitted.
The City requires all mobile food vendors to submit declaration forms. If an item is Not Applicable, the inspector is required to mark off the N/A option and sign off on this as the City does not inspect vendor units. Incomplete declaration forms will not be accepted. Forms are subject to audit. All relevant declaration forms expire yearly.
For event organizers that would like to obtain a special event or festival vendor permit, please fill in your online application.
Applications for special events and festivals must be submitted a minimum of 7 business days in advance of the event start date. A list of vendors in PDF format is required. Please note that only approved vendors will be permitted under the event or festival vending permit.
Please be advised that a response can take up to 10 business days.
