In order to improve response times and communications between the City of Edmonton and the applicable utility stakeholders, we offer asphalt, concrete and stone restoration for utility work through the request form below.

Applicants must have the following to complete an application:

  • On-street Construction and Maintenance (OSCAM) number
  • Specific address information
  • Identification of the utility owner
  • Contact information for requester as well as on-site representative
  • Accounting information for billing purposes (purchase order, NWA#)

Once an application is submitted, it will be assessed and scheduled accordingly. The applicant will receive a confirmation by email with an outline of next steps in the restoration process.

NOTICE: As of January 1, 2020, new unit rates are in effect for any restoration requests using City of Edmonton resources. All work requests pending restoration prior to this date will be invoiced at the 2015/2016 rates. If you have any questions or would like to have a copy of the 2020 unit rates, please contact Infrastructure Maintenance at parksandroads@edmonton.ca.

If you have further questions, please contact Infrastructure Maintenance at parksandroads@edmonton.ca and include "Road Restoration Request Inquiry" in the subject line of the email.

Request Restoration

OSCAM Permits

You must have an OSCAM number prior to your request as Infrastructure Maintenance uses the information from the permit to complete restoration. Please apply for an OSCAM permit if you do not have one before continuing with this form.

For urgent approval of emergency work that severely impacts traffic and pedestrians, contact 311 and request 'Urgent OSCAM Permit Application Approval'. Traffic Operations will assess impact on traffic and pedestrians and the OSCAM permit will be released on their recommendation.

We are experiencing a high volume of inquiries and are taking longer than usual to process permits. We appreciate your patience and we will get back to you as soon as we are able.
