In August each year, thousands of competitors from here and abroad take to city streets for the Servus Edmonton Marathon. The marathon winds through historic neighbourhoods and past Edmonton’s scenic River Valley. The 2025 race was a Boston Marathon qualifier and proudly hosted the Athletics Canada National Half Marathon Championships alongside the Canadian Masters Boston Marathon.
