We offer complete event packages, as well as individual services for those who only need to have a ceremony or reception.
Available Space - Governor's Room and West Terrace
Guest Capacity: 100 persons (maximum)
Governor Room Description
Located on the second floor, the Governor’s Room is warmed by the flickering light of a gas fireplace and soft overheard lights. The beautiful hardwood maple floors complement the original rosewood wainscoting, trim and ceiling beams.

Rental fees: $743 (3 hours)
Rental time: 9am-4pm (includes set up time)

The Governor's room and main floor concourse are available for business, promotional and social rentals. The concourse, with its unique architectural design, is ideal for events including small tradeshows, fashion shows and social gatherings.

Catering and Bar Services
Catering Services
Clients may select the caterer of their choice. Your Booking and Rental Representative can provide you with a list of caterers that are familiar with the facility.
Note: If you are interested in using a caterer that has not catered an event at the Armouries, arrangements need to be made for a facility orientation with one of our Facility Representatives.
Bar Service
With consent from your Facility Representative and a valid liquor permit, alcohol can be served at your event, provided it is handled by individuals that have Pro-Serve.
Dancing
Due to the historical nature of the facility, dancing is only permitted in the open space on the main floor rotunda or on the West Terrace.
SOCAN and Re:Sound Fees
If you are planning a special event that includes live or recorded music of any kind, you are required to pay the licence fee to SOCAN and Re-Sound. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Re:Sound Music Licensing Company (Re:Sound) are collective societies. These collective societies can charge tariffs for the performance of music in public, according to section 19(2)(a) of the Copyright Act.

Parking and Building Access
The parking lot can only be accessed from west of 105 Street along 108 Avenue. Although parking is free, spaces are limited.
Note: The entrance to the Prince of Wales Armouries is locked. There is a doorbell to the right of the door to request access. The door will be opened remotely.
