While John Walter Museum is closed for drop-in visitors, Registered Programs, School and Group Programs, and Birthday Parties are currently available.

Drop-in programs are not currently running.

The John Walter Museum includes 3 of the Walter family's original homes. Come spend time exploring the houses and surrounding areas while learning about John, his family, his community and his experiences as a settler in the Edmonton region. We offer programming for children, families and adults!

School and Group Programs at John Walter Museum

Through hands on experiences, students will gain an understanding of historical realties and the unique relationship humans have with the land. Programs are cross-curricular in nature.
