Many of Edmonton’s festivals make the Heritage Amphitheatre home, including the Freewill Shakespeare Festival, the Edmonton Blues Festival, Symphony Under the Sky, and the Heritage Festival. Each year over 50,000 visitors enjoy the unique natural and cultural setting this facility offers.

Follow these steps to reserve the Heritage Amphitheatre for your event:
Complete an online Event Application Form
Applications must be submitted a minimum of 8 weeks prior to your requested date.
Once your event application has been reviewd and accepted, a Booking Rental Agreement will be drafted and emailed to you.
Return the signed Booking Rental Agreement, proof of $2 million liability insurance with the City of Edmonton listed as an additional insured, and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total rental fees to secure your event date.
Closer to the event, a "City of Edmonton License" which confirms the details of the event will be provided. Please sign and return to the Facility Coordinator prior to the event date. Once executed, an electronic copy will be returned to you.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your rental charge per day of use must be received by the City of Edmonton before your event date can be confirmed.
The remaining rental fees and any additional services required during or after the event will be invoiced within 8 weeks of the completion of the event.

Rental Fee: $250/hr or $3,000/day (12-hour day). For a ticketed event, there will be a surcharge of $0.50/ticket.
Not-for-Profit Fee: $160/hr or $1,920/day (12-hour day)
There is a minimum rental fee of 3 hours.
Services Included With Your Rental Fee
Exclusive use of the entire facility. Includes Green Room, upper east/west vending pads, public washrooms, 2 bunkers, stage, and seating.
Parking/vehicle access passes (15) for the Heritage Amphitheatre parking lot.
A pre-event site meeting. Additional fees apply should you require additional access to the facility before or after your event.
Use of ten 6-foot tables, 20 chairs, 13 picnic tables and 12 fence pieces.
Public parking, limited staff parking, and vehicle access to the amphitheatre.
Access to power and water.
Services Not Included in Rental Fees
Post-event facility cleanup or maintenance. (As determined by the Facility Coordinator based on pre and post site inspections).
Utility connections requiring the services of a plumber or electrician. Must be performed by the City of Edmonton staff and scheduled by the Facility Coordinator.
Other services (not provided by the City of Edmonton):
Alberta Health Services Food Handling Permits
AGLC Liquor License
Ushers, cashiers, volunteers
Parking attendants, bike lock-up barricades or fencing, bike lock-up attendants
Fencing or fencing installation
Tent rentals or installation
Production services (such as sound and lighting)
Food and beverage vendors
If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify the Heritage Amphitheatre Coordinator as soon as possible.
If written cancellation is received within seven (7) days of the initial payment due date, the Licensee will receive a full refund of the initial payment made to the City, less a $30.00 (thirty dollars Canadian) administration fee. After seven days (7) days the Licensee will forfeit the entire initial payment. *If written cancellation is received fourteen (14) days or less prior to the Event Term, the Licensee will forfeit the total License fee paid.
