There are plenty of things to see and do in City Hall. Whether it is taking a tour of the building, participating in an event, or attending a City Council meeting, City Hall has a variety of activities for people of all ages.
Located across from City Hall, Churchill Square is the main downtown square in Edmonton, which plays host to a large majority of family-friendly festivals and events.
Note: In 2019 many annual festivals and events have been relocated from Churchill Square due to impacts from the Civic Precinct Surface and City Hall Fountain Rehabilitation Project. The City Hall Fountain, pool and skating surface will be closed for rehabilitation until summer 2019.
City Hall is a hotspot for WiFi access. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of reliable and fast internet for free!

City Council and Committee Meetings
Regular City Council and Committee meetings are held in Council Chambers and the River Valley Room in City Hall. For more information view the Council and Committee Meeting schedule.
