The Coronation of King Charles III and The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday May 6, 2023.
A book of congratulations will be available at City Hall in the south lobby near the information desk.
The book will be set up and open to the public from Thursday May 4 and Friday May 5 from 9am to 5pm.
On May 6 and 7, the High Level Bridge, Walterdale Bridge and other City facilities, including the Muttart Conservatory, Rossdale Power Plant and Commonwealth Stadium, will be lit emerald green.
To permanently commemorate the coronation, a tree will be planted for King Charles III at Coronation Park, as ground conditions and weather permit.
The celebrations will be available on Canadian Heritage’s YouTube channel and on the Crown in Canada Facebook page.
