A maintenance agreement is a licence between the City of Edmonton and a Community Organization that defines maintenance responsibilities and allows a Community Organization to perform maintenance activities on City-owned or maintained land. The Community Organization's maintenance responsibilities may include enhanced maintenance of existing City parkland that is above the base level maintenance regularly provided by the City of Edmonton, or maintenance of park amenities that were approved through the community-led construction process.

Maintenance Agreements may take 6-8 weeks to issue upon receipt of a complete application.
