The Safe Mobility Strategy 2021-2025 will help us reach Vision Zero through safe and livable streets.

This strategy will help to shape how Edmonton’s streets are planned, designed, built, activated, and maintained. There are four themes where we will focus our attention over the next two years. Read the themes and key actions for 2021-2022

The strategy outlines what we’ve learned and where we’re headed to make Edmonton’s streets safer and more livable.

On December 1, 2020, the Strategy was presented to the Urban Planning Committee.

What informed the Safe Mobility Strategy?

We crunched five years of crash data, asked Edmontonians about their experience on our streets, and learned from traffic safety strategies from around the world.
