Report a Pothole online

How long does it take to repair a pothole?

The time it takes to fill a pothole depends on the location of the pothole and how many notifications are received. Crews in each of the City’s roadway maintenance districts inspect the roads and identify priority pothole areas based on severity, location and traffic volume.

The City targets the following response times for pothole reports:

  • High priority locations: Inspected within 24 hours and repaired within two days
  • Lower priority locations: Inspected within five days and repaired within a month
  • Alleys: Inspected within two weeks and repaired within a year

(Please note that these are targeted response times).

City crews work 24/7 to keep our roads in good condition. We rely on citizens to report potholes by calling 311, using the 311 app or using the online pothole reporting tool. City crews also conduct inspections to locate and repair potholes.
