A planning application (map) has been received for properties at 10240, 10305, 10319 and 10415 Princess Elizabeth Avenue; 10816 and 10820 118 Avenue, and 11762 and 11763 106 Street.
The application proposes to rezone the properties from Alternative Jurisdiction Zone (AJ), Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC), Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2), and Municipal Airport Zone (MA) to Urban Institutional Zone (UI).
The proposed rezoning to Urban Institutional Zone (UI) is to provide for educational or institutional facilities within mature areas of the city, and associated uses that complement institutional development.
The purpose of this rezoning application is to consolidate properties owned by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) into a single zone.
