For the best experience possible, here are some LRT tips to beat the crowds:
Park for free at any LRT park and ride lot and transfer to a train (regular fares apply)
Use a Capital Line train
Stand clear of LRT doors/do not hold doors, in order to keep trains running on time
Your best route is to use Bay/Enterprise Square and walk a few short blocks
Post event: Metro Line trains turn back at Health Sciences station as scheduled. Transfer to a Capital Line train in a warm, Downtown station to travel south to McKernan/Belgravia, South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park, Southgate, or Century Park stations.

LRT service to and from the new Rogers Place is available on the Capital Line. Regular ETS fares apply for using the LRT. The best route is to use Bay/Enterprise Square and walk a few short blocks; however, event goers can also use Churchill or Central station as additional options.
LRT service is also available every 15 minutes on the Metro Line. Disembark at the MacEwan station.
Note: If using the Metro Line, please allow lots of extra time for travel as demand is high. You may have to wait for several trains to get onto a Metro Line train. Instead, customers may wish to use a Capital Line train and walk to Rogers Place from Bay/Enterprise Square.
Door-to-door service is available to eligible DATS clients during normal service hours. To book a DATS trip, call: 780-496-4567 (option 2). The DATS stop for Rogers Place is located at the southeast entrance of the building on 104 Avenue and 102 Street.
ETS offers free parking at the following LRT park and ride locations:
Reserved parking is available Monday - Friday from 6am-5pm. After 5pm on weekdays and all day on weekends and Statutory Holidays, all stalls (including reserved parking) are free on a first come, first served basis.
Transit users can use either the Capital or Metro Line LRT. The Capital Line is recommended because it has the capacity to hold more passengers on trains and run more often. Due to NAIT station being a temporary station, it only has a three car platform. Meaning, all trains along the Metro Line need to be three cars. The Metro Line runs every 15 minutes. LRT service is increased on the Capital Line (trains run more often) for large, special events. There is also free Park & Ride facilities at four LRT stations along the Capital Line. If using the Capital Line, riders are encouraged to use Bay/Enterprise LRT station and walk a few short blocks to the arena and Winter Garden. Churchill and Central stations are also nearby and have covered pedestrian access for the majority of the walk to the arena.
While MacEwan LRT station was originally planned before the arena location was selected and serves as access to MacEwan University, Norquest College and other highly dense developments, it also accommodates the arena. The platform is large. With Metro Line trains running three car trains every 15 minutes, riders may find it faster and more convenient to walk a short distance to either Churchill, Central or Bay/Enterprise Square station and use the Capital Line.
There is an arena entrance directly across from the LRT station doors that is off transit property. Depending on the event and discretion of Rogers Place, this entrance may not be available to the public. Bay/Enterprise LRT station, Churchill and Central stations are also nearby and have covered pedestrian access for the majority of the walk to the arena.
Reserved, paid stalls will be free on a first come first serve basis after 5pm on weekdays and statutory holidays. On weekends, all LRT Park & Ride lots are available on a first come, first serve basis - anyone can park anywhere.
