Refined data collection and a better knowledge of the City’s asset base have provided a complete picture of the state and condition of Edmonton’s infrastructure. Prioritizing funding for infrastructure projects, however, is a challenge Council and Administration face, especially when comparing “hard” and “soft” assets, such as transit and parks.
