Canada Day (July 1) marks the anniversary of Confederation and also offers us time to learn, reflect, commit to understanding the truth and move ahead towards reconciliation.

The City of Edmonton acknowledges the traditional land on which we reside is in Treaty 6 Territory. We do this to create awareness that we are all treaty members, and to show recognition and respect for Indigenous Peoples and the traditional territories on which we live and work.
