- Guests should be instructed not to arrive prior to the start time.
- You are responsible for finding your own marriage officiant to perform the ceremony.
- We will provide you with a signing table, table cloth and chair.
- Chairs are not provided or permitted in the pyramids. A few chairs are available for those who cannot stand throughout the ceremony.
- Rose petals, confetti, bird seed, bubbles and balloons are not permitted inside or outside.
- Your photographer may want to bring in additional lighting if your session is late in the day in late fall or winter.

Photography Sessions
To book a photography session, a minimum 2 weeks notice is required.
Note: You are responsible for providing your own photographer.

Evening sessions will begin at 6pm and will be booked consecutively in the order they are received.

Photo/Ceremony Sessions
General Photography at Muttart
- Visitors are welcome to take casual individual photographs for their own personal use. Photos can be taken with hand-held cameras or cellphones.
- The use of Tripods can only be used for plant photography during low admission times and must not impact other guests visiting the facility. Pre-approval by the customer service representative staff is required.
Food and Beverage/Catering
Outside catering is not permitted.
All food and beverage are managed by our exclusive in-house caterer, Cafe Bloom. Please visit the Cafe Bloom website or contact them directly at events@cafebloom.ca.
SOCAN and Re:Sound Fees
If you are planning a special event that includes live or recorded music of any kind, you are required to pay the licence fee to SOCAN and Re-Sound. The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) and Re:Sound Music Licensing Company (Re:Sound) are collective societies. These collective societies can charge tariffs for the performance of music in public, according to section 19(2)(a) of the Copyright Act.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do our guests park?
Guest parking is available in the designated parking areas on the north side of the facility. Guests are required to register their vehicle license plate numbers with the front counter staff upon arrival.
What time do the pyramids close?
The pyramids close at midnight.
Can alcohol be served / consumed at my event?
All aspects of the sale and service of alcohol will be coordinated through Cafe Bloom.
Alcohol service must finish one hour before the end time of the event.
The consumption of food and beverages is not permitted in the pyramids.
Where do we access the facility for setup and delivery of items for our event?
Please contact the facility representative to discuss and confirm delivery and set up arrangements in advance of your event.
Only equipment and set up arranged with the facility representative will be provided.
Can we provide our own decorations for our event?
Décor items are allowed with these requirements:
- Décor items cannot be affixed to walls, murals, artifacts, doors, fixtures, overhead beams, or windows without prior discussion and approval from the facility representative
- Fog machines are not permitted
- Dance floor wax, rose petals, rice, birdseed and confetti of any type, are not permitted within the facility
- Balloons of any type and animal entertainment acts are not permitted as decoration or entertainment at the facility
- Open flame candles are not permitted in the facility unless they have a minimum of 2 inches of glass higher than the flame
