August is a great time of year to relax, and what better way to do so than to come down to the Muttart in the evening to listen to the musical stylings of Dale Ladouceur! Make sure to take in a guided tour during the intermission, when a Muttart interpreter will show and teach you about some of our interesting plants.
About Dale Ladouceur
Dale is one of the pre-eminent Chapman Stick players in Canada. Working the last 20+ years as a soloist and accompanist has taken her across North America and Europe, performing at major festivals and events. She has performed alongside Bruce Cockburn, Angelique Kidjo and Richie Havens, among others.
As a sideman, she has played in groups led by conductor Bill Eddins, Lester Quitzau, Bill Bourne and others. Dale also tours annually with The Christmas Carol Project, an all-star Christmas show based on the Dickens classic. The Bravo special The Carol Project airs nationally every year on Bravo/Access. Over the course of a decade Dale was a proud member of the Devil’s Robato Band part of November Theatre’s internationally acclaimed version of Tom Waits/ William S. Burrough's The Black Rider, which toured Canada and the U.S. as the English-speaking premiere.
Her critically acclaimed original project "Dale Ladouceur and the Broke Ensemble” have three releases, her latest; Do Ya Think, was released this August.
