Located southwest of Commonwealth Stadium and Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre, Clarke Stadium is the original home of the Edmonton Elks.
This facility is home to numerous amateur sport clubs. Over the years, Clarke Stadium has also hosted concerts by The Tragically Hip, Midnight Oil and Dolly Parton.
Canada’s Men’s Rugby Team’s road to the 2027 Rugby World Cup is underway, and 2026 preparations begin in Edmonton this summer. The inaugural World Rugby Nations Cup brings world-class rugby back to the city over two thrilling weekends this July.
This follows the success of the Rugby Canada matches hosted in Edmonton in 2025 and provides Edmonton the opportunity to shine on the international rugby spotlight!

There are 4 parking lots (A, B, C & D) with approximately 750 parking spots around Commonwealth and Clarke Stadium.
Neighbourhood Parking Restrictions
Residential parking restrictions are in effect in the neighbourhoods that surround Clarke Stadium during major events.
Only residents with valid permits are permitted to park in these areas.
We ask all guests to be courteous and respect the neighbourhoods that surround the stadium.
Parking Lot Closures
During major events, there may be parking lot closures.
All parking lots will be closed 3 hours prior to Edmonton Elks home games. Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre will remain open.
MacEwan University Soccer games at Clarke Stadium will result in some parking disruptions in Lot C. Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre will remain open.
