To celebrate Neighbour Day, the City of Edmonton is running a contest from June 12 to June 20, 2026. Tell us how you connect with your neighbours and enter to win a single entry family recreation centre pass!

What is Neighbour Day?

Neighbour Day is an annual celebration held on the third Saturday of June. It's a community-focused celebration designed to foster connections, kindness, and resilience among neighbours. The City of Edmonton encourages residents to celebrate Neighbour Day by taking the lead and creating a sense of shared belonging where they live. This could be done with conversations on the sidewalks, acts of kindness, gathering on private property, or organizing a block party. This is your Edmonton, you belong here.
