Four art tours, coordinated by ArtTourYeg.ca, give locals and visitors the chance to learn about art and architecture found in downtown Edmonton.

Is there anything more Albertan than a bison sculpture set against a prairie sky? Well, there might be but this sculpture by Joe Fafard is definitely in the running. Called ‘Paskwamostos’, the sculpture is featured on the second ArtTourYEG: Churchill to McKinney.

The four art tours, found at ArtTourYeg.ca, give Edmontonians and visitors the chance to learn about the eclectic art and architecture found in the downtown and the Quarters.

The art tours include:

  • Capital Boulevard
  • Churchill to McKinney
  • Jasper Avenue
  • The Quarters

The tour can be found online at arttouryeg.ca, or stop by City Hall or any Downtown hotel to pick up a brochure. ArtTourYEG is an initiative by the Urban Renewal section at the City of Edmonton.
