Edmonton Transit System (ETS)

Victoria Day Service
On Monday, May 20, Victoria Day, ETS will be operating regular Sunday service on all routes.

May Long Weekend LRT Service Disruptions 
Replacement bus service will operate from Clareview Station to Corona Station and will stop at each of the LRT Stations in between.

Platform replacement at Stadium LRT
The entire platform of Stadium LRT Station will be resurfaced and the end portions will be reconstructed.

Stadium Parking Lot Construction
EPCOR is installing a water line at Stadium Station starting Monday, May 13, 2013.

Bay LRT Station Tile Replacement
Starting May 20, ETS will begin replacing the warning tiles at Bay/Enterprise Square Station. The replacement project is expected to take a total of six weeks and will disrupt regular LRT service.

Fort Edmonton/Valley Zoo Service
This year, in additional to the Route 596 Fort Edmonton/Valley Zoo shuttle, Route 595 will run between South Campus/Fort Edmonton Park Transit Centre and Fort Edmonton Park from the May long weekend until the Labour Day weekend.

Spring Service Changes
Changes to ETS service this spring are limited mainly to removal of the additional post secondary service due to the end of the school term.  Service changes go into effect on Sunday, April 28.

Stony Plain Road Closure
ETS routes will detoured along 102 Avenue between 124 - 142 Street during the rehabilitation project for the Stony Plain Road Bridge over Groat Road.  Free local shuttle service will be available from April 28 - August 31.

Earn 25 AIR MILES® reward miles at Safeway
Purchase your ETS Adult Monthly Pass at participating Safeway locations between April 12 and June 6, 2013 and earn 25 Air Miles reward miles.

ETS Customer Services Centre has moved to City Hall
The ETS Customer Services Centre (including fare product sales and Lost & Found) has moved from Churchill LRT Station to the main floor of City Hall.

ETS Tests CNG Buses
Two Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses will be going into regular service in late January as ETS and City of Edmonton Fleet Services begins a two year pilot program.

University and Grandin LRT Station escalators
Escalators in University and Grandin LRT Stations are out of service for major maintenance (step replacement). We apologize for the inconvenience. Elevators are available for customers requiring accessible access.

LRT Line Names announced
It is with great pleasure, following an extensive public input process, we announce the names of the current and future LRT lines.

Free Transit 101 class
Mobility Choices Travel Training is offering free Introduction-to-Transit class.  This class is ideal for customers who need assistance learning how to use ETS's accessible features and services.

Northgate Transit Centre Reconstruction
The shelter at Northgate Transit Centre will be closed for construction Tuesday, May 22, 2012 and will remain closed until approximately Spring 2013.

ETS Centennial Book
Ride of the Century, The Story of the Edmonton Transit System is available for purchase at Shop on the Square at a reduced price of $30.

Park and Ride Express Services
Parking your vehicle at your local Park and Ride site allows you easy access to express buses, creating a quick stress-free commuting experience.

ETS and AGA team up to offer discount for transit users
ETS and the AGA have teamed up to offer a special discount to transit users. This promotion is a joint initiative by ETS and the AGA. Ride ETS and save $3 on your next visit to your AGA!
