Parking Services - EPark Refund Policy

City of Edmonton - Parking Services reserves the right to deny any refund request.

EPark Account Transfers and Closures
  • Starting on April 29, customers with $25 or more in their account will have their account transferred to the HotSpot system, and will be notified when this is complete
  • Customers who have less than $25 in their account are encouraged to use their remaining balance until April 29, or use the form below to request a refund
     
Refund Requests
  • Requests for refunds must be made through the Refund Request form
  • Please contact 311 if you require assistance in completing the form
  • EPark pay machine coin refunds will be provided in the form of a pay code that can be entered into the EPark pay machine
  • Refunds for credit card payments originally made at an EPark machine will be processed back to the original credit card
Refunds on MyEpark App
  • The MyEPark app has been deactivated and accounts with $25 or more are being transitioned to the new app
  • Users who had less than $25 in their account can request a refund before June 30, 2024
  • Due to significant volume, refund requests may take longer to process
  • Users who require account activity reports can use the Request an EPark Refund form, which enables them to enter a phone number, licence number and/or user ID that can be used to find their account and fulfill their request
  • Users who have an outstanding request that is more than three weeks old can send a follow up inquiry with the original reference number to epark@edmonton.ca







There must be a minimum account balance of $25 if an EPark customer wishes to have their account automatically transferred to HotSpot. Accounts with a balance of under $25 may use their existing balance until April 29, or request a refund using this form.







Please be aware that City staff will be conducting a follow-up phone call to verify details. This is mandatory prior to proceeding with your refund request.








Your name, address, phone number, email and licence plate number will be collected in accordance with Section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act. Your information will only be used for the purposes of processing and issuing you a refund.
