In the heart of Edmonton’s downtown, Sir Winston Churchill Square and City Hall Plaza are home to many world-class festivals and community events.
Come skate on the ice rink in winter, splash in the fountain in summer, check out the art and rotating exhibits, or listen in on a public meeting inside City Hall. The area can be enjoyed year-round.
The area features dynamic spaces that range from statues to commemorative recognition walls that offer residents and visitors opportunities to explore and enjoy the various displays.

City Hall Rink
The rink is now open for the season.
Go out and have some fun at this popular downtown skating surface in the heart of the city, surrounded by festive lights and the City Hall building.
