Starting in June 2024, residential parking permits for households and students will be issued digitally as a part of the City’s effort to make it easier, quicker, and more convenient to apply for and manage parking permits. Please check Residential Parking Programs for updates on digital parking permits.

Currently, temporary parking permits in residential parking areas are available on this web page for students, visitors, businesses/contractors working at a home, or to replace a lost or damaged household permit. All latter permits are valid until May 31, 2024 when digital permits will be available to use.

Personal information is collected for the administration of issuing parking permits for Traffic Operations’ Residential Parking Program. Collection is authorized under section 33(c) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIP) Act and is managed and protected in accordance with the Act. A letter from the registrar’s office of your educational institution.

Please attach proof of residency at this address:

A piece of letter mail with the students name and correct address where they will be residing.
