The City of Edmonton is conducting a Business Satisfaction Survey on the Transportation System. This survey has been sent out every three years (2011, 2014, and now 2017).
- The survey helps in understanding the business satisfaction levels associated with various aspects of Edmonton's transportation system
- It was developed to satisfy a progress measure for the Economic Vitality strategic goal in the Transportation Master Plan, The Way We Move
- Businesses that make use of the transportation system for their operations are selected to complete a survey on specific aspects of the transportation system
In order to provide a representative result, a random sample of businesses that use the transportation system for goods movement are invited to participate in this survey. The sample is extracted from a data set that is purchased through a third party vendor. The data set may contain errors such as the name of owners or name of businesses that no longer exist. Invitations with unique participation codes have been sent to businesses via direct mail in May 2017.
Businesses can also choose to take the survey online.
The City of Edmonton would like to thank all businesses participating in the survey. Your input is an important indicator of how effective and efficient the movement of goods and services is throughout the city.
