MEETING 2 - October 13, 2011
An Information Session, held on Thursday, October 13, was attended by 68 residents along with members of the City Roads Design & Construction, Transportation Operations and the Office of Great Neighbourhoods. The overview and design details were presented and residents were able to speak with City representatives to have questions answered and to discuss the preliminary design details.
Below are the links to the Meeting 2 presentation materials explaining the reconstruction process and the preliminary designs, which at this stage are not finalized and are subject to change. Under the Meeting 1 section below you will find additional information on how resident input shaped the design of the reconstruction.
MEETING 1 - June 2, 2011
On June 2, 2011, the first of three public meetings was held at Argyll Centre. The residents that attended were asked to provide input on the design for the 2012 reconstruction. The information and comments we received have been assessed and, where possible, incorporated into the design.
Terrace Heights residents identified several key elements which were of particular concern within their neighbourhood. These included:
- Pedestrian Accessibility/Connectivity
- Addition of Pedestrian Crossings
- Improve Livability
The following provides a general overview of resident comments. All comments were reviewed and considered in the preliminary design.
Throughout the process, all project updates will be posted on this page.
