About the Program

Strathcona has been chosen for reconstruction beginning in spring 2019 with completion expected for 2021.

A series of public events will give residents the opportunity to view the design plans and discuss details with the project team.

Ideas and Options Workshop

Roll up your sleeves and join your neighbours to review what we heard from the recent public survey to brainstorm ideas for Strathcona's neighbourhood renewal.

This workshop is now full, thank you for your interest in the project.
Additional public engagement events will be available.
 Wednesday March 21, 2018
Time: 6:30 - 8:30pm
Location: Roots on Whyte Community Building 8315  102 Street

Neighbourhood Reconstruction

Neighbourhood reconstruction is a type of neighbourhood renewal that involves road reconstruction and repaving, as well as replacement of streetlights and reconstruction of sidewalks, curb and gutter. Alley renewal is not part of neighbourhood reconstruction. It also includes the opportunity for two local improvements, sidewalk renewal and decorative streetlights.
