Bike Engagement - February 2020
Thank you to everyone who attended our 2 drop-in events on February 8 and February 11, 2020 to discuss opportunities for bikes in Pleasantview. If you could not attend in person, please share your thoughts through the Bike Facility survey before Tuesday March 31, 2020.
In the near future, there will be additional engagement opportunities which focus on driving and walking as well as playing in open spaces and parks. Subscribe for details about future engagement sessions.
How will a bike facility best fit along 106 Street?
About the Project
The Neighbourhood Renewal program will rehabilitate roads, replace street lights, curbs and gutters, repair sidewalks, and connect missing sidewalk links where possible. Other opportunities to improve parks and public spaces will also be explored.
Cost sharing opportunities will be made available through the Local Improvement process for sidewalk reconstruction and decorative street light upgrades in the neighbourhood. Arterial roads and alleys are not included in the scope of work.
A series of public events will be scheduled by the project team which will give residents the opportunity to build a project vision and guiding principles together and provide regular feedback on the different stages of the project including design.
Please watch your mailbox for correspondence from Building Great Neighbourhoods and Open Spaces about the Pleasantview Neighbourhood Renewal Project.
