Project Update - Spring 2017

Neighbourhood Renewal has begun in Lansdowne. Please anticipate that the duration of construction in front of your residence may be up to 12 weeks (weather dependent).

The construction consists of removal and replacement of public sidewalk, curb and gutter, streetlight replacement as required and reconstruction and paving of the road.

About the Program

Neighbourhood reconstruction is a type of neighbourhood renewal that involves road reconstruction and repaving, as well as replacement of streetlights and reconstruction of sidewalks, curb and gutter. Alley renewal is not part of neighbourhood reconstruction.

Property owners will have the opportunity to make choices about what they will pay for during neighbourhood reconstruction via local improvements of sidewalks and decorative streetlights.

For information about what to expect during reconstruction, visit the 2016 Neighbourhood Reconstruction page.
