The project history for the Neighbourhood Reconstruction which was completed in the Glenora neighbourhood as part of the 2014-15 construction program.

Open House - June 2016

Residents in the area of Glenora between 102 Avenue and Ravine Drive from St. Georges Crescent to 142 Street were invited to a Drop-In Open House to discuss the final plans for this section of Glenora. The following materials were on display:

Signage - Based on further assessment of the area and the information received from the June 2016 Open House, the decision was made to not include Stop and Yield controls within this area of Glenora.

Project Update - Spring 2016

Neighbourhood Renewal construction began in May 2016. Please anticipate that the duration of construction in front of your residence may be up to 12 weeks (weather dependent).

The construction consists of removal and replacement of public sidewalk, curb and gutter, streetlight replacement as required and reconstruction and paving of the road.

Meeting One - October 10, 2012 with Glenora Community League Executive

The Building Great Neighbourhoods team met with the Glenora community league to share the City’s plans to renew and replace sanitary and storm sewers, reconstruct roads, curbs and sidewalks on City-owned property, and replace streetlights starting in 2014.
