Edmonton’s Bicycle Transportation Plan, approved by City Council in 2009, envisioned Edmonton as a bike-friendly city where more people ride their bikes more often.

Get Involved!

The last 10 years have seen a lot of change, growth and conversation around bikes, and we’re getting ready to develop the next Bike Plan for Edmonton. To get it right, City staff will be talking to Edmontonians to gather thoughts on the existing bike network and what should be considered as we plan for the future.

The result will be a high-level strategic plan that will guide Administration and Council as they continue to improve and grow the bike network.

Phase 2: Spring 2019

Tradeoffs and Priorities

Where should we focus our priorities and resources to achieve our shared vision?

Phase 3: Summer/Fall 2019
