Planning applications received by the City in The Hamptons neighbourhood.

Proposed

5220 199 Street NW

A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 5220 199 Street NW.

The application proposes to rezone the site from Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC) to Low-Intensity Business Zone (CB1). The rezoning would allow for a greater range of commercial, office and service uses within an existing commercial building located at the northwest intersection of 199 Street NW and Hemingway Road NW.

The applicant's stated intent is to allow for the addition of a Liquor Store use. The proposed rezoning conforms to the approved The Hamptons Neighbourhood Structure Plan, which designates the site for commercial uses.
