A planning application (map) has been made to rezone 707, 721, 730, 801, and 845 Tamarack Way NW, and 2341 Maple Road NW.
The current zoning is Direct Development Control Provision (DC1). The proposed zoning is for a revised Direct Development Control Provision (DC1) to add Cannabis Retail Sales and Breweries, Wineries, and Distillers to the Area B - Pedestrian Friendly Commercial Node as shown on the Rezoning Map.
Administrative updates to the DC1 Provision will also add Urban Gardens to all areas and Fascia on Premises Signs to Areas C and D of the site. The sign regulations for Area B will also be revised.
The proposed rezoning conforms to the Tamarack Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP), which designates the site for Mixed Use Development.
