A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 9076 25 Avenue SW.
The application proposes to rezone the property from an existing Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2 1003) to Low-Intensity Business Zone (CB1). This rezoning will allow more commercial uses on the site and will eliminate the opportunity for General Industrial uses.
This rezoning requires plan amendments to the Summerside Neighbourhood Structure Plan and the Ellerslie Area Structure Plan to identify the property as Commercial instead of Industrial (Special Area). An amendment to the Zoning Bylaw to Section 930, Appendix 1 to amend the Ellerslie Industrial Special Area is also required.
