Proposed rezoning of the 100 Avenue and 112 Street corner lots to allow for a high-rise mixed use tower.

A planning application has been received to rezone the northwest corner of 100 Avenue NW and 112 Street NW. This proposal includes 11206, 11208 and 11214 100 Avenue NW.

The proposed rezoning will accommodate the development of a residential tower on a commercial and residential base structure.

The applicant's project name for this proposal is Edmonton Grandin 2 Tower.

Edmontonians are invited to a drop-in engagement session to learn more about a proposed rezoning at the northwest corner of 100 Avenue NW and 112 Street NW.

Time: 6–8pm
Location: Grace Lutheran Church (Gym), 9907 114 St NW  

The session provides an opportunity for neighbours to learn more about the proposed rezoning and share feedback with the City and the applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council when the proposed rezoning goes to a future Public Hearing for a decision.

About The Application

The proposed rezoning is from Direct Development Control Provision - Oliver Area 3 (DC1) to Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).

This would allow the opportunity for a high-rise tower with the following characteristics:

  • An 88-metre tower (approximately 28 storeys)
  • Commercial uses at grade fronting onto 100 Avenue NW
  • Row housing fronting onto 112 Street NW
  • Up to 210 dwellings
  • Underground parking
