A planning application (map) has been received for properties at 17345 and 17515 66 Street NW. The application proposes to rezone the properties from Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC) to Low Intensity Business Zone (CB1).
The proposed zoning would allow for the development of low-intensity commercial, office and service uses along arterial roadways that border residential areas.
The proposed rezoning conforms with the McConachie Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP), which designates this site for local commercial development.
