A planning application (map) has been approved for a property at 17861 Meridian Street NE. This application proposed to rezone the property from Agricultural Zone (AG) to Urban Reserve Zone (AGU). The rezoning would allow for an interim Residential Sales Centre before the rest of the site is rezoned and developed.

17404 - Meridian Street NW

A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 17404 - Meridian Street NW. The current zoning is Direct Development Control Provision (DC1), Public Parks Zone (AP), Semi-detached Residential Zone (RF4) and Residential Small Lot Zone (RSL).

The proposal would change the zoning to Public Parks Zone (AP) and Residential Mixed Dwelling Zone (RMD) zone to allow for a mix of single, semi-detached and limited row housing, as well as a park site.

The rezoning conforms to the intent of the Marquis Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP) and the Horse Hills Area Structure Plan (ASP).
