Public Hearings for planning applications are being held remotely, and opportunities are being provided to allow the public to submit their comments/concerns either in writing or by registering to speak remotely.

To Submit Written Comments:

Submit before noon on the day before the Public Hearing. Email: city.clerk@edmonton.ca

To Register to Speak Remotely at the Public Hearing:

Complete the Request to Speak Form before noon on the day before the Public Hearing or call the Office of the City Clerk at 780-496-8178. Following registration, the remote City Council Statutory Public Hearing procedure will be made available to you.

Proposed

850 119 Street SW

A planning application (map) has been received to rezone 850 119 Street SW.

The current zoning is Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2). The proposed zoning is for a revised (DC2) Site Specific Development Control Provision.

The current DC2 Provision allows for a range of small-scale commercial uses with a maximum floor area of 275 square metres. If approved, the proposed DC2 Provision will add Cannabis Retail Sales and Markets to the list of uses allowed on site.

The MacEwan Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan designates this site for Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial uses.

A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 850 119 Street SW.

The application proposes to rezone the site from Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2) to Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).

The proposed Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2) would allow for Child Care Services to be added as an allowable use.

The application conforms with the associated MacEwan Neighbourhood Area Structure Plan (NASP).

  2. Navigate to an area on the map or enter an address to search
  3. In the top right legend, select the green checkbox for “In progress rezoning applications”
  4. Information like the application date, status and a link to the current (more detailed) document(s) is shown in the box at the bottom of the page
