Public Hearings for planning applications are being held remotely, and opportunities are being provided to allow the public to submit their comments/concerns either in writing or by registering to speak remotely.

12720 88 Street NW

A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 12720 88 Street NW.

The application proposes to rezone the property from the Semi-detached Residential Zone (RF4) to Small-Scale Infill Development Zone (RF3). This zone allows for Single-detached Housing and Semi-detached Housing while allowing the small-scale conversion and infill redevelopment to buildings containing up to four dwellings, and including Secondary Suites under certain conditions.

There is no plan in effect for the area.

The applicant intends to develop multi-unit housing (a three-unit row-house).

97 Street NW

A planning application (map) has been made to legally close a portion of 97 Street NW right-of-way, within the Killarney neighbourhood.

This proposal would close a road right-of-way that does not affect the functionality of 97 Street NW. The closure area will continue to be used for parking after it is consolidated with the adjacent property at 12831 97 Street NW. This land will accommodate an existing freestanding sign.

8604 130 Avenue NW

A planning application (map) has been approved to rezone 8604 130 Avenue NW.

The current zoning is Single Detached Residential Zone (RF1).

The approved zoning is Small-Scale Infill Development Zone (RF3). The purpose of this zone is to provide for a mix of small-scale housing.

The applicant intends to develop multi-unit housing (4 unit row house) on the site.
