Public Hearings for planning applications are being held remotely, and opportunities are being provided to allow the public to submit their comments/concerns either in writing or by registering to speak remotely.

To Submit Written Comments:

To Register to Speak Remotely at the Public Hearing:

Complete the Request to Speak Form before noon on the day before the Public Hearing or call the Office of the City Clerk at 780-496-8178. Following registration, the remote City Council Statutory Public Hearing procedure will be made available to you.

A planning application (map) has been received, proposing to rezone a property at 13202 117 Street NW.
The proposed rezoning is from Single Detached Residential Zone (RF1) to Small-Scale Infill Development Zone (RF3). The rezoning will allow for the development of small scale housing, generally referred to as Row Housing.

A planning application (map) has been made to rezone 12511, 12511C, 12603 135 Avenue NW and 13441, 13441C and 13451 127 Street NW.

The current zoning is Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2.897).

The proposed zoning is Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2). The purpose of this zone is to accommodate seniors-oriented low rise apartments, with site development regulations to ensure that development will be compatible with the adjacent residential development.

The applicant intends to revise the developable area as indicated on the proposed site plan. No changes to the DC2 text are being proposed.

To use it, follow these steps:
  1. Go to maps.edmonton.ca, and select "Zoning” from the menu
  2. Navigate to an area on the map or enter an address to search
  3. In the top right legend, select the green checkbox for “In progress rezoning applications”
  4. Information like the application date, status and a link to the current (more detailed) document(s) is shown in the box at the bottom of the page
