A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 7604 83 Avenue NW. The application proposes to rezone the property from Single Detached Residential Zone (RF1) to Row Housing Zone (RF5).
The proposed rezoning is to provide the opportunity for a low to medium density row housing development. The existing Row Housing Zone (RF5) would allow for a height of 8.9 metres under the Mature Neighbourhood Overlay (MNO). However, the RF5 zone is currently under review through the Missing Middle Zoning Review process. The revised RF5 zone, if approved, would allow for a height of 10.0 metres at this location.
An associated application has been made to amend the Southeast Area Redevelopment Plan to enable the rezoning.
