A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 6423 112 Avenue NW.
The proposal is to rezone the property from Neighbourhood Convenience Commercial Zone (CNC) to Direct Development Control Provision (DC1) to preserve and enhance the Gibbard Block, a municipally designated historic building.
The Direct Development Control Provision proposal includes retention of the existing 4-storey historic building, and continuation of commercial and residential uses.
An associated plan amendment to the Highlands Neighbourhood Planning Study has been made to enable this rezoning.
