The RF5 zoning would allow the development of Multi-unit Housing along with the opportunity for discretionary uses such as Group Homes, Lodging Houses, and Single and Semi-detached Housing.
The intent of the applicant is to develop 3 buildings with permanent supportive housing. Permanent supportive housing combines affordable housing with on-site health and social supports to help people who have experienced chronic homelessness access and maintain safe and affordable housing.
The proposed rezoning is in conformance with the Jasper Place Area Redevelopment Plan (42MB) which designates this site for Transit Oriented Housing.
