A planning application (map) has been received to rezone a portion of land at 2531 170 Street SW.
The application proposes to rezone the land from Agricultural Zone (AG) to Semi-detached Residential Zone (RF4), Residential Mixed Dwelling Zone (RMD), Residential Small Lot Zone (RSL), Public Utility Zone (PU), and Direct Development Control Provision (DC1).
The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for single detached housing, semi-detached housing (two units side-by-side), row housing (three or more units side-by-side), and a portion of a stormwater management facility.
The purpose of the proposed DC1 Zone is to allow for larger building footprints (higher site coverage). Single and semi-detached housing will be permitted in DC1 - Area A and row housing will be permitted in DC1 - Area B.
The application conforms with the Glenridding Ravine Neighbourhood Structure Plan (25MB).
