430 66 Street SW, 330 66 Street SW, and 331 71 Street SW

A planning application (map) has been received for properties at 430 66 St SW, 330 66 St SW and 331 71 St SW. The land is proposed to be rezoned from Direct Control Provision (DC2) and Rural Residential Zone (RR) to Urban Services Zone (US)

The intent of this rezoning application is to enable construction of a Religious Assembly Use. 

An associated plan amendment is proposed under LDA19-0028.

Public Engagement Session

Edmontonians were invited to a drop-in engagement session on March 6, 2019 to learn more about a proposed rezoning at 430 66 St SW, 330 66 St SW and 331 71 St SW. 

The session provided an opportunity to learn more about the proposed rezoning and share feedback with the City and the applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report to City Council when the proposed rezoning goes to a future Public Hearing for a decision.

Area west of 66 Street SW and south of Anthony Henday Drive

A planning application (map) has been received for an area west of 66 Street SW and south of Anthony Henday Drive.

The application proposes to amend both the Ellerslie Area Structure Plan (ASP) and Ellerslie Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP)

The area of land known as the 'Wernerville Special Study Area' will be brought into the area of application for the Ellerslie NSP. The NSP text, land use map and statistics will require an amendment. 

Additionally, the Ellerslie Area Structure Plan will need an amendment to add an Institutional Land Use designation and to amend the land use map and statistics.

An associated application to amend the Ellerslie Area Structure Plan (ASP) is also proposed to enable the rezoning.
