The proposed rezoning is for a revised Direct Development Control Provision (DC1) to allow for a broader range of commercial and residential uses. The proposed rezoning in general conforms with the Ambleside Neighbourhood Structure Plan.
This rezoning will allow for a range of uses, including for general industrial uses, although limited in kind to facilities commonly referred to as self-storage operations. The application will also revise existing regulations to be compatible with the existing commercial development adjacent to the site.
