A planning application (map) has been received for the area north of 63 Avenue NW, south of 78 Avenue NW, east of 105 Street NW, and west of the CPR Irvine Rail Corridor.
The area includes the mixed commercial and industrial areas along Calgary Trail and Gateway Boulevard as well as an area in the eastern edge of the Allendale neighbourhood.
The proposed DC1 zoning will be identical to the existing DC1, except with the use Cannabis Retail Sales added and a few minor text updates to reflect current department names, use names and administrative changes.
Cannabis Retail Sales is subject to Section 70 of the Edmonton Zoning Bylaw, which provides specific regulations for location, separation distances and design.
