A planning application (map) has been received for a property at 165 Albany Drive NW.
The application proposes to rezone the property from Shopping Centre Zone (CSC) to Site Specific Development Control Provision (DC2).
The intent of this application is to create a DC2 Provision which would allow a mixed-use site with an opportunity for standalone residential low-rise apartments, low-rise apartments with main floor commercial or standalone commercial uses.
An associated plan amendment to the Albany Neighbourhood Structure Plan (NSP) would reconfigure approximately 2.55 ha of the commercial area within the southeast plan area to a mixed-use commercial/residential land use area.

The public meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about the proposal and provide your feedback to the City and applicant. Feedback will be summarized in a report provided to City Council before they make a decision on the rezoning.
