A planning application (map) has been received for properties at 3010 118 Avenue NW and 3210 118 Avenue NW.
This application proposes a plan amendment and rezoning for a portion of the Abbottsfield Mall site. A related subdivision is also proposed to separate the area of this application from the mall site.
The application proposes to rezone a portion of the site from Shopping Centre Zone (CSC), to Medium Rise Apartment Zone (RA8). The Medium Rise Apartment Zone would allow for residential apartment buildings up to approximately six storeys tall.
The accompanying plan amendment to the Abbottsfield Rundle Heights Community Development Plan would change the designation of this portion from Commercial to Apartment on a map, and reflect the new zoning on a zoning map.
